About Courtney
Courtney Joslin leads R Street’s Project for Women and Families. Her work covers a range of issues, such as contraception, telehealth, and women’s economic mobility.
Previously, Courtney was the policy analyst for the Johnson Center for Political Economy at Troy University, where she worked with legislators and scholars on economic issues in Alabama. Prior to this, she was an MA fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University.
Courtney also serves on the Power to Decide Public Policy Advisory Committee. Her work has been featured in a number of outlets, including The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Politico, and National Public Radio, and she regularly testifies before state legislative bodies. She also authored a chapter in the book, Knowledge and Incentives in Policy: Using Public Choice and Market Process Theory to Analyze Public Policy Issues (2018).
She earned her master’s degree in economics at George Mason University and her bachelor’s degree in accounting at the University of Tennessee.
Courtney lives in Colorado with her family.
