Healthier Communities
The R Street Institute’s Healthier Communities program focuses on substance regulation, behavioral health, and thriving families, to promote better health and stronger communities.
The Healthier Communities program advances practical, evidence-based policies that respect individual liberty, harness free markets, and strengthen families and communities. Government is most effective when it is limited, targeted, and focused on outcomes—facilitating access to care, reducing preventable harms, and creating the conditions for families to thrive. These approaches promote healthier, more stable, and more resilient communities.
