Chelsea Boyd

About Chelsea
Chelsea Boyd focuses on advancing mental health and wellness through evidence-based policy research with an emphasis on improving population health. She works across the Healthier Communities portfolio, exploring strategies to mitigate risks associated with tobacco use, substance use, and infectious diseases.
Prior to joining R Street, Chelsea served in various roles at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, and the District of Columbia Center for AIDS Research. Her experience spans program evaluation, training development, and laboratory research in infectious diseases.
Chelsea holds a Master of Science in epidemiology from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts from Colorado State University. She is currently completing her dissertation in pursuit of a Doctor of Public Health in epidemiology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
