About Jumoke

A former Project Manager for the Making Space Initiative, part of R Street’s Cybersecurity and Emerging Threats team, Jumoke Dada was in charge of developing the Making Space Initiative to increase representation among women and encourage a diversity of experts on cyber policy-related panels. She also created partnerships and collaborated with the #sharethemicincyber campaign while building “Cyber-Base,” a talent list of Black cybersecurity professionals. Prior to R Street, Jumoke founded the Tech Women Network, a global community for diverse technical women. She also created the HUE Tech Summit, the first national summit designed to educate, elevate and empower technology-oriented women of color.

Spotlighted in LinkedIn’s June ’21 Black Women to Watch and by Temple University’s Cybersecurity in Application, Research and Education (CARE) lab as a woman tech leader, Jumoke also appeared in The Plug Daily’s feature on Black women as tech leaders weathering COVID-19, and was one of Technical.ly Philadelphia Realist Top 100 Connectors.

Jumoke received her Bachelor degree in Computer Information Sciences from Temple University.
