Nicholas Thielman

Nicholas Thielman is a federal government affairs associate at R Street. In this role, he tracks legislation, researches policy, helps manage stakeholder relationships, and drafts policy pieces for external audiences.

Nicholas previously served as a research associate at the Cato Institute’s Center for Monetary and Financial Alternatives and spent time in the energy industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and international politics from Ashland University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in political science at George Mason University. Nicholas resides in Arlington, Virginia.
