About Nicholas
Nicholas Thielman conducts research and provides commentary on issues related to cybersecurity, telecommunications policy, and AI governance. His writing has appeared in National Review, RealClearMarkets, The Daily Economy, and Regulation magazine, among other outlets.
Before joining at R Street, Nicholas held graduate fellowships at the Mercatus Center and served as a research associate at the Cato Institute. He holds a master’s degree in political science from George Mason University and a bachelor’s degree in economics and international politics from Ashland University. He resides in Arlington, Virginia.
