Bill Watson was an associate fellow in the Finance, Insurance and Trade policy department at the R Street Institute. He researched patent litigation and trade law reform as a contributor to the ITC Policy Project. Previously, Bill was a policy analyst at the Cato Institute, focusing on trade remedies, disguised protectionism, international intellectual property law and American trade politics.
He received his bachelor’s in political science from Texas Christian University, his JD from Tulane University and a Master of Laws in international and comparative law from the George Washington University Law School.
He lives with his family in Fort Worth, Texas.
