About Alden
Alden Di Dio develops and implements fundraising strategies to support R Street’s Technology and Innovation policy portfolio. He identifies, cultivates, and stewards funders that align with our free-market approach to a competitive tech landscape.
Alden previously served as a membership and development coordinator at the Horatio Alger Association, where he assisted with donor outreach through solicitation letters, digital campaigns, and event coordination. Prior to that, he was a program associate for strategic partnerships at the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression. There, he managed relationships with First Amendment organizations, identified potential partners, and oversaw the speakers program to promote free expression.
He has held various internship positions in the liberty space, most notably at the Pacific Legal Foundation as part of Stand Together’s Koch Internship Program. He also interned at Hillsdale College’s D.C. campus.
Alden holds a bachelor’s degree in government from the College of William & Mary. He lives in Virginia.
