…Natural climate solutions — ways that conservation, restoration and improved land management practices increase carbon storage in ecosystems — mean that we can volunteer and help nature build infrastructure to protect us. Living shorelines that include mangroves, coral reefs and oysters are just a few ways that our natural resources can reduce natural disasters, increase water recharge and improve filtration systems for nutrient overload, thus providing ways we can impact our community and environment right in our backyards.
