NTU has also pointed to numerous areas of waste in the defense budget such as the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) and Navy frigate programs, and the new Space Force bureaucracy, though we do not include some of these options in the above list due to a lack of ironclad cost-savings estimates from CBO or some other government source.Featured Publications
