From Federal News Radio:

This week on FEDtalk, we are discussing the dwindling capacity of members and their staffs to effectively do their jobs as responsibilities increase.

Two groups working on the issue – the R Street Institute’s Governance Project and the Congressional Management Foundation (CMF) – are trying to solve this Congressional gridlock issue that seemingly worsens perpetually.

Host Ben Carnes from Shaw Bransford & Roth is joined in-studio by Kathy Goldschmidt, the president and CEO of the CMF, as well as Kevin Kosar, the vice president of policy at the R Street Institute.

Listen to this show live on Friday, October 18 at 11:00 a.m. ET on Federal News Radio 1500 AM in the Washington, DC area, or stream online via the Federal News Radio player.
