And how would you know it was a wedding populated by tax nerds? Scott Drenkard, also of the Tax Foundation and a groomsman, cited the definition of complementary goods in his toast. (“A thing, when enjoyed with another thing, increases the utility of both items above and beyond their utility apart.”)
