About Sara
Sara Smith works with recruiting to help identify the needs of different departments at R Street. She is in charge of posting job openings, as well as sorting through and screening candidates to make mutually beneficial and successful matches for each team.
Over the last 20 years, Sara has worked as a registered representative and principal working for broker dealer firms doing suitability and trade review, new representative training and onboarding. Prior to that, she managed a multiplex movie theatre. She has also worked as a waitress, bank teller, special education/behavioral disorder associate and a nursing assistant.
Sara lives in rural Iowa with her husband and their two barn-turned-house cats, Stanley and Twyla.
