About Kathryn
Kathryn Waldron focused her research and writing on the intersection of geopolitics, economics and cybersecurity. Before coming to R Street, Kathryn was a graduate research fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University.
Earlier in her career, Kathryn worked for Walmart’s headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas, where she was a health and wellness coordinator. She also served as a research assistant at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kosovo.
Kathryn earned her master’s in economics from George Mason University and her bachelor’s in economics and international relations from Wheaton College.
She lives in Arlington, Virginia.
