About Justina
Justina Yee was responsible for the strategic planning and business development operations that support R Street’s ability to achieve its short-term goals and to fulfill its mission, vision and values. She collaborated across the entire organization to design and implement aligned operational and funding strategies and also leads the diversity, equity and inclusion initiative.
Justina most recently worked at the National Gallery of Art, where she ran the National Teacher Institute and spearheaded its first diversity and inclusion initiative. She was also an adjunct professor of art history. Previously, Justina spent a dozen years in management consulting, advising a variety of organizations in the tech, non-profit and VC industries to devise strategies to strengthen their market and product positioning, improve their operational health, and invest in profitable growth.
She received her bachelor’s in political science and sociology from the University of Pennsylvania and her master’s in art history from Indiana University Bloomington.
