About Corie
Corie Whalen is R Street’s Director of Communications. She amplifies R Street’s policy positions and ensures our scholars’ work is part of the media discourse.
Prior to joining R Street, she was the Director of Media Relations at the Cato Institute. Before that, she served as the Communications Director for former Congressman Justin Amash.
Corie lives in western Loudoun County, Virginia, with her husband Kenny, their sons Max and Xander, and their two dogs George and Bella.
