About Catherine

Catherine edits R Street’s various scholarly publications and works closely with the policy team to ensure rigor and accuracy while maximizing the impact of their scholarship. She also manages the editorial curriculum and learning assets, conducts training for new hires and policy teams, and liaises with external contractors.

Prior to R Street, Catherine worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health, a non-profit health care system, where she was a digital content producer working alongside doctors, researchers and clinicians to create accessible content.

Previously, Catherine worked in academia, developing new programs and curriculum and teaching a variety of undergraduate classes. She also served as assistant editor for a book series at the University of Massachusetts Press.

Catherine has a BA (hons) in English with a minor in anthropology from Union College (N.Y.) and an MA and PhD in English language and literature from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
