About Beth
Beth Cieslik provides quality control by assessing R Street’s rapid response pieces for style, grammar, accuracy and readability prior to publication.
She spent 15 years in various roles at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio, including seven years as content specialist in the communications department. There, she copyedited everything from event flyers to strategic planning documents and worked on the quarterly Tri-C Times magazine. Her writing garnered regional and national awards from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations in 2021 and 2022.
Beth holds a bachelor’s degree in English with a creative writing concentration from Cleveland State University and has been an associate producer/programmer on the university’s alternative radio station, WCSB 89.3 FM, since 2004.
She lives in the Cleveland area with her husband and daughter and their Cornish Rex, Chikorita.
