Ben Dennehy oversees R Street’s social media, email marketing, website, and other digital assets, helping expand the organization’s reach and strengthen how its work is communicated to key audiences.

Before joining R Street, Ben served as public affairs and office manager for the Northern Ireland Bureau within the British Embassy to the United States. He also served as communications director at the American Consumer Institute and worked for the Australian Department of Defence within the Australian Embassy to the United States. These roles helped him develop expertise in strategic communications, digital engagement, public affairs, and cross-institutional outreach.

Ben is originally from Maitland, New South Wales, Australia, and holds a bachelor’s degree from the Australian National University in Canberra. He now lives in Washington, D.C. where he attends the Van Andel Graduate School of Government at Hillsdale College.
