About Addyson

Addyson Garner is the events and creative production manager at R Street, where she leads the planning, logistics, and creative execution of the organization’s events portfolio. She ensures that everything from Capitol Hill briefings and policy-focused convenings to organization-wide brand initiatives and conference activations are delivered with excellence, efficiency, strategic alignment, innovation, and fun.

In addition to event management, Addyson contributes to R Street’s storytelling efforts as a creative producer, supporting visual and multimedia production that enhances the organization’s brand and audience engagement while delivering commonsense explanations for free-market solutions.

Prior to R Street, Addyson worked on Capitol Hill for Congressman Justin Amash of Michigan and as a communications and video associate at Feminists for Liberty. She holds a B.A. earned through an interdisciplinary studies program integrating communications, history, government, and film.

Addyson is always happy to discuss her latest film projects, her forays into international travel, and her quest to beat 2025’s reading challenge (60 books!) She lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her husband and a precocious four-year-old.
