RSI National Farmer’s Day Forum: Firsthand Accounts from the Field

Overview

It’s been a wild year in agriculture policy, with emergency bailouts; staffing and program cuts at the Department of Agriculture; major subsidy changes; trade uncertainty; Make America Healthy Again; never-ending farm bill delays; and now, another promised bailout. But what’s happening on the ground, behind the headlines?

In observance of National Farmer’s Day (Oct. 12), we’ve gathered a diverse array of farmers to give firsthand reports from the field. We’ll talk about their biggest challenges, common misperceptions, how federal policies are affecting their businesses, and the opportunities they anticipate in the year to come.

Bring your questions, and we’ll get answers straight from the horse’s … er, farmer’s mouth!
