Global financial market risks: Entering unchartered territory

Years of highly unorthodox monetary policy have taken us into unchartered territory. They have led to an unprecedented increase in the combined size of the world’s main central banks’ balance sheets, stoked remarkable asset price inflation, and resulted in very low interest rates on risky loans.

This expert panel will discuss the risks that these developments represent for the global economic and financial market outlook in 2019 and beyond. It will also examine the policies needed to contain such risks and whether it might already be too late.
