Conference on the 10th anniversary of the 2008 financial crisis

The 10th anniversary of the devastating 2008 financial crisis is in September 2018, so it is a sensible time to consider both its causes and consequences.

The morning session will be devoted to various views of what caused the crisis. Following lunch, the afternoon session will consider how these differing views influenced — or failed to influence — the government’s policies.
