In a letter Thursday to the heads of the House Judiciary subcommittee on intellectual property and the internet, the American Civil Liberties Union, Center for Democracy & Technology, Electronic Frontier Foundation, Fight for the Future, Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, R Street Institute and TechFreedom said that while they support the goals of proposals like the No AI FRAUD Act, “these bills likely would cause more problems than they would solve, creating widespread free expression concerns in the process.”
