Lawmakers Take On Militarization Of Police In Defense Budget Talks

A coalition of more than 90 groups spanning the political spectrum had endorsed Pressley’s proposed moratorium on 1033. On Monday, they sought to raise momentum around the proposal, tweeting about it under the hashtag #STOP1033.
