The practice was highlighted in a recent article for Defense News co-authored by U.S. Army Cyber Institute (ACI) researcher, Jessica Dawson, and Brandon Pugh, policy counsel for the R Street Institute’s cybersecurity and emerging threats team.
As the authors point out, “It is the new normal for military service members and veterans to be considered high value targets in the information war.”
