The Economics Club, a registered departmental student organization, will host its first event of the semester at 7 p.m. today, Monday, Sept. 14, via Zoom. Anyone interested is welcome to attend at 6:30 p.m. to observe the business meeting and the election of new officers for the academic year.

Weissmann manages R-Street Institute’s social media and email marketing, in addition to contributing graphics and video skills. She also works on occupational licensing reform and other issues and has written for various publications, including The Wall Street Journal and USA Today.

The Economics Club also will host a roundtable discussion at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, with Dan Kuester, economics department at K-State; Vahe Gregorian, Kansas City Star; and Tim Fitzgerald, Powercat Illustrated, about “College Athletics After COVID 19” at the same link.
