Update on the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress
Join the Legislative Branch Capacity Working Group (LBCWG) for a lively update and panel discussion on the work – thus far! – of the House Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress. The committee has unanimously approved 29 recommendations that span from improving House technology to increasing congressional transparency and fostering new leaders in the chamber. The panelists will discuss the recommendations and what the committee might do next. They also will look at the organization and management of the Select Committee itself – a recommendation in its own right to other committees on the Hill.
