From R Street Institute:

For the past several years, global, federal and state governments have contemplated how to manage online content—from the largest social platforms to the smallest. Experts will examine where mitigating harm online intersects with free expression and civil rights, what propositions exist to help balance these factors, what harms could arise from them that would impact individuals and how to balance these competing factors. This discussion builds on, and is part of, R Street’s ongoing multistakeholder discussion of content policy issues.

Moderator: Chris Riley, Senior Fellow of Internet Governance, R Street Institute

Panelists: Olivier Sylvain, Professor of Law at Fordham University

Emma Llansó, Director, Free Expression Project, Center for Democracy and Technology (CDT)

Matthew Schruers, President, Computer & Communications Industry Association (CCIA)
