About Chad
Chad Russell oversees R Street’s administration, people operations, IT, contract processes and facilities. Chad also supports the executive director in developing and implementing organizational strategy, processes and priorities.
Prior to joining R Street, Chad was a gubernatorial speechwriter, finance and operations director for a presidential campaign, managed strategic planning and branding for nonprofits and corporations, and was a public health lobbyist.
Chad received his bachelor’s degree in economics and Spanish from the University of Iowa.
He lives in Des Moines, Iowa with his partner, Proctor.
