About Douglas

Douglas Carr is the president of Carr Capital Co., a financial and economic advisory firm.

Douglas has taught finance at Quinnipiac University and has published on inflation, interest rates and economic growth. His research focuses on “markronomics,” the intersection of financial markets and macroeconomics. Previously, he was an investment banker and corporate executive.

Douglas has a bachelor’s degree in computational mathematics from Tufts University and a master’s degree in finance and applied economics from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
