About Brett
Brett Fleming supported R Street’s fundraising efforts and manages a portfolio of supporters in these areas: Cybersecurity and Emerging Threats; Technology and Innovation; and Energy and Environmental policy.
Before joining R Street, as director of external affairs at Ridge Global, Brett developed relationships with partner organizations to produce and deliver cybersecurity risk mitigation training to their executive and leadership teams. Prior to that, as coordinator of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s National Security and Emergency Preparedness team, he managed the day-to-day activities of a leadership council focused on emerging cyber challenges in the private sector. He also helped plan and execute a series of regional events aimed at educating business leaders on cybersecurity threats.
Brett earned his bachelor’s degree in political science at Central Michigan University.
