About Brenna

Brenna Woodman collaborates with leaders, scholars and staff across departments to develop internal communication strategies that drive business objectives and foster connectivity to R Street’s mission and values.

At the International Association of Privacy Professionals, Brenna worked closely with leadership on a range of communication initiatives. Prior to that, she was a public information officer for the City of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

During her time with the city, Brenna received the New England Water Works Association’s Public Communications Award for outreach aimed at dispelling citizen concerns over water supply and emerging contaminant issues.

Brenna holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of New Hampshire. She lives in the White Mountains of New Hampshire with her partner, Corey, and rescue dog, Athena.
