About Alexa

Alexa Cunniff is responsible for managing R Street Institute’s digital activities, boosting the number of followers of R Street’s digital platforms, and tracking social media performance and metrics. She creates, posts and maintains existing and new content on R Street’s website and other digital platforms. Alexa also develops digital and physical marketing materials to maximize R Street’s impact.

Before joining R Street, Alexa worked at McDermott, Will & Emery as a legal secretary. Prior to that, she did research at the Makengue Rainforest Reserve in Nicaragua, working on marine biology and designing educational posters for schools in the country. She also worked with Saheli Sangh in Pune, India, educating Sangh’s staff and sex workers in Pune on the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act and their rights.

Alexa earned her bachelor’s degree in international studies from American University.
