Overview

In the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to be a transformative force, empowering organizations to detect, respond to, and automate cyber incident management efficiently, enhancing their overall security posture and resilience against cyberattacks. While we should be concerned about malicious actors leveraging AI to conduct cyberattacks, we must also embrace its many beneficial applications in security.

Join the R Street Institute for this special virtual event where we will analyze existing and future applications of AI in cybersecurity, inspired by discussions from our ongoing Cybersecurity-AI Working Group. Panelists representing a multidisciplinary perspective will discuss current AI applications in cybersecurity as well as its benefits, future potential, and policy implications, propelling ongoing AI discourse and regulatory efforts toward a healthy balance between speed of adoption and risk mitigation.
