James Baker is the new director of national security and cybersecurity at R Street Institute, a free-market think tank in Washington.
He spent decades in the federal government as a prosecutor working on national security investigations and prosecutions at the Justice Department and as head of the FBI’s Office of the General Counsel under former FBI Director James Comey, among other roles at the agency.
