The R Street Institute recently co-hosted an event in Salt Lake City with Utah chapter of Congress for the New Urbanism on how to make both housing affordability and strong communities possible in a red-state boom town like Utah’s capital. Alongside Sutherland Institute Director of Public Policy Derek Monson and Health Hansen, staffer to Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, R Street Visiting Fellow Jonathan Coppage reviewed the need to allow for small solutions to big problems, relegalizing accessory dwelling units and missing middle forms.
