The R Street Institute has hired Nan Swift as a fellow in its governance program, where she will focus on congressional reform and the federal budget. Swift most recently worked for the Senate Budget Committee Republicans as a professional staff member, and earlier was director of federal affairs for the National Taxpayers Union. She has also served as a campaign manager for FreedomWorks.
