OF NOTE — The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation is divvying up $6 million among three Washington-based tech policy groups conducting research on online content moderation and the impact of internet market concentration on media. The Center for Democracy & Technology will receive $3 million, the Open Markets Institute will get $2 million and R Street Institute, the remaining $1 million.
