Appearing on the the Peak Prosperity podcast, R Street Distinguished Senior Fellow Alex Pollock details his assessment of the Federal Reserves’s major transgressions against the interests of the general public. But perhaps more interestingly, he shares his observations from a recent hearing of the House Financial Services Committee on the same topic (at which he testified) and how it struck him that many members of Congress that convened it appear to be growing increasingly concerned about the Fed’s lack of accountability, as well as its potential fallibility.
