R Street Institute joined the Center for Democracy and Technology and the European Union Delegation for a three-part tech summer series earlier this year. The series brought together policy makers, congressional staff, think tanks, and technology policy leaders for cocktails and conversation. R Street Institute’s president Eli Lehrer spoke at the second in the series on the topic of the health of the internet ecosystem and how we can find compromise solutions to combat issues like hate speech and fake news. In this podcast, Federal Affairs Manager, Sasha Moss joined her co-organizers, Jesse Spector of the EU Delegation and Brian Wesolowski of the Center of Democracy and Technology, to discuss the inception of the series and the power of bipartisanship in the age of identity politics.
