A number of tech groups including the Internet Association and Consumer Technology Association have voiced their opposition to the bill. In another coalition letter, R Street Institute, TechFreedom and New America’s Open Technology Institute are among the others sharing concerns about the additional liability tech companies could incur if the bill were to become law.
