Ann Phelan leads, designs, and helps to build creative products that amplify and promote R Street’s brand, policy work, and scholars. She is also responsible for helping manage the organization’s brand and presence with key media audiences and executing comprehensive communications and digital strategies with the Communications Director.

Ann joined R Street in 2018, working for the editorial and communications departments. Prior to R Street, she worked nearly four years with the Eno Center for Transportation as their communications manager.

Ann received her bachelor’s in history and anthropology from Franciscan University of Steubenville.

Ann lives in Colorado with her husband Joe and their loud/loyal beagle, Po Campo.
