WASHINGTON (March 5, 2013) – The R Street Institute and the Environmental Working Group will be hosting a pair of Capitol Hill briefings today to discuss the case for crop insurance reform.

The briefings will include an examination of crop insurance within proposed Farm Bill legislation, new research on the cost of crop insurance to taxpayers and new legislative proposals to reform crop insurance subsidies.

The House briefing will be:
