USPS 101: Resources for Congressional Postal Staffers

Issues with the postal service have long been among the most common reasons constituents contact Congressional offices. They understand that Congress governs the post office, and has the authority to address whatever mail complaints they might have. Sometimes, responses are simple, but other questions require more research.
To that end, the R Street Institute invites you to a luncheon to discuss where and how to look for answers to questions about the post office. We will be joined by Ann Fisher of the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC), who can explain the PRC’s role in postal policy, and how the Commission can help you. R Street has also produced an introduction to postal policy that will be presented at this event.

Speakers
Nick Zaiac, Commercial Freedom Fellow, R Street Institute
Kevin Kosar, Vice President of Policy, R Street Institute
Ann Fisher, Public Affairs Director, Postal Regulatory Commission
