Bipartisan Solutions for Birth Control Access
Issues: Competition Policy, Disintermediation
In recent years, Congress members have turned to the FDA to advocate for over-the-counter birth control, progress has been slow. However, there are important measures that can be taken to improve access until birth control becomes over the counter. This panel will explore how state lawmakers and advocates have paved the way for better birth control access in innovative ways, and highlight the lessons that Congress can learn from them.
