Ransomware and other critical security failures have more recently taken to disrupting critical infrastructure, such as airports, highways hospitals, media, electricity grids, water systems and more, , dams, power plants, seaports, oil refineries, and water systems. Pinpointing criticalities with a Defense In-Depth approach will consider robust architecture, analysis, technology and open architecture in the solution. It will also serve in identifying strategies to protect critical infrastructure, the backbone of any nation.
