The Assault on Trust in Our Elections
A January 2019 poll by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution found that 85% of Democrats felt it likely or very likely that obstacles to voting or problems with voting machines affected the outcome of Georgia’s 2018 gubernatorial election. And earlier this year, a poll published by the R Street Institute found that only a quarter of Republicans believe that we had a free and fair election in 2020.
