Rubio book skips role in controversial Citizens moves

Aside from violating free-market principles, Brown said his strongest objection centered on the decision for the state and insurance policy holders to financially back Citizens Property Insurance, the government-run property insurer.
Although it allowed Citizens’ rates to be rolled back and temporarily frozen, Brown said the legislation put the state and its taxpayers in a “very, very dangerous position” if Florida were hit by a major storm season again.
