Report: Texas utility-scale solar to double this year
In April, a report from non-profit The R Street Institute indicated that although Texas’ solar-power potential outpaced that of nearly every other state, the state’s potential remains largely unutilized. The report stated that Texas would benefit from property assessed clean energy (PACE) financing and from on-bill repayment, which allows individuals to repay loans for energy-efficiency improvements via an assessment on their monthly utility bills.
