WASHINGTON (April 18, 2018) – The R Street Institute today is pleased to announce their inclusion in the Washingtonian’s 50 ‘Great Places to Work’ in the Washington, DC area.

For nearly two decades, the Washingtonian has selected winning workplaces, using employee-survey data to assess such measures as: generous pay and benefits, interesting and meaningful work, work/life balance, opportunities to learn and grow, commitment to charity and community, and the recognition and respect given to employees.

This year’s winners were chosen after editors reviewed nearly 200 companies and over 7,500 employee surveys. The final determinations placed heavy emphasis on the scores provided by a company’s employees.

“I’m proud of the colleagues I have and what all of us have accomplished together,” said R Street President Eli Lehrer. “This recognition is a tribute to the way our staff as a whole makes R Street a great place to work.”

As a mid-sized, growing think tank, the R Street Institute is proud to stand among truly outstanding organizations in the Washington region. R Street’s strong policy work—ranging from tech innovation and energy, to national security and criminal justice reform, to list only a few areas of research—is only possible thanks to the intelligence, determination, and happiness of its workforce.

We thank them.
